My best photo is the one of this leaf. I took this picture in my front yard during the summer. In this picture, the leaf is more centered which is using the rule of thirds and it's mostly close up. The light hits only the leaf and the background is dark. The leaf also has water droplets on it which makes it more visually interesting.
The lighting and contrast is very strong in my photo because the leaf is being hit directly by the sunlight and the other leaves in the background are almost black. Also, leading lines because the lines in the leaf lead your eye through the photo.
This photo is important to me because when I took it, it was during the summer and that is my favorite season and this leaf really shows how bright the colors of summer are.
