Photo 1: Jacks |
This is a picture taken in the classroom of a few jacks on top of a mirror. The compositional elements that are present in this photo are the rule of thirds and a bird's eye point of view that is lowered a little. To create a successful shot, I took the shot from above the jacks and there was natural lighting in the room because the window was open. I was sort of close to the jacks and I made sure the circular mirror was in the lower center of the picture. The mood here is fun and exciting because the jacks are colorful and have a reflection in the mirror.

This picture was taken in my front yard of a plant that has these really big leaves on them. It had recently just rained so there's water droplets still left over on the leaf. The compositional elements that are present in this photo are a bird's eye view, the rule of thirds, and using the edge of the frame. The lighting for this picture is all nature because I was outside and I put the camera above the leaf to create a bird's eye view to get a successful shot. When I considered distance, I was close up to the leaf. This picture makes someone feel happy because it reminds them of summer.

Photo 3: Lights |
I took this picture at the school in the auditorium and the person is using a string of lights to create the circle by spinning the lights. In this picture I used a slow shutter speed of 30 seconds, the rule of thirds, and a straight on point of view. The lighting was dark because all the lights were off in the auditorium. The camera angle was perfectly straight on. For the distance, I made sure there was enough room to fit the person and the lights in a circle. The mood in this picture is fun and a person would feel a little dizzy.
